There has been so much happening since the #MillionsMissing protest on September 19th. We’ve shared some of our amazing press wins. You tuned into the live stream on Twitter. You saw the article that cover our government’s response. We are thrilled.

And we want to take a moment to acknowledge all of the amazing activism from home that happened on or around September 19th.

We saw #LongCOVID and #COVIDIsNotOver trending online. This is no small feat with all that was going on that day!

Our reach was massive thanks to you. We know for a lot of reasons not everyone could be in DC in person- and our movement is better because we have people doing a variety of actions in a variety of places.

We need to reach people in massive numbers because so many are becoming sick or have been sick for many years without the knowledge and support they deserve. But it is important to remember that each number represents a person who needs to hear our message. Maybe it is someone newly ill and feeling alone and confused. Another might be a healthcare provider or researcher who can now do better work because of their knowledge. Maybe one was a concerned loved one who did not understand until something they saw or read just clicked. Perhaps another is a philanthropist willing to donate to a worthy cause. Whatever brought you to our community we are glad you are here.

Throughout the day, we saw so many great posts on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook. Our notifications were blowing-up!  Whether you did a one spoon activity or worked your way up to the 5 spoons action, we thank you for using your precious spoons to take action with us!

While we could not possibly share posts all with you today, but make sure to check our Instagram Story Highlights of the day for even more posts.

Here are a few highlights:

For those that took action from home, we are filled with gratitude for you. And as always, if you were not able to do anything around this event, you are no less meaningful to our movement.

We stand in awe of this community. Thank you.
