Share #DontIgnoreME films to raise awareness

This M.E. Awareness Month, our message is simple: don’t ignore M.E.
To spread this message, Action for M.E. launched three films as part of M.E. Awareness Week. Starring Sharon and Douglas, who have M.E., Sharon’s partner Connor, and our medical advisers Dr Gregor Purdie and Prof Julia Newton, each focuses on a different aspect of M.E. and its impact.
Don’t ignore M.E. highlights the isolation experienced by so many with the condition, and asks those watching to take simple steps to help those with ME.
Dr Purdie and Prof Newton highlight the evidence for systemic abnormalities in What is M.E.?
M.E. and social care aims to provide carers and social care professionals with key information to help them better support people with M.E.
Together, these films have been viewed more than 35,000 times on our Facebook and YouTube pages. Please share to spread the message even further, and share your feedback with Action for M.E. – we’d love to hear your reaction to our films.
