Pillow Crafters Showcase: Healing Themes—The Wildflower Process

#MEAction invites you to experience Pillow Crafters Showcase: Healing Themes—The Wildflower Process on Wednesday, March 26th, 2025 at 11am PT/2pm ET/6pm GMT, a showcase of resilience, creativity, and the many ways we reclaim our identities after an ME/CFS diagnosis.

Through the symbolism of a wildflower, participants have explored themes such as grief, transformation, and self-definition—moving beyond what we “used to be” to embrace who we are. At the center of each wildflower is the I AM—the essence of self, untouched by illness or loss. Each petal represents a layer of experience, creating a collective tapestry of growth and self-acceptance.

At this special event, several of us will be presenting our “wildflower selves” in a metaphorical way, offering glimpses into our journeys—whether as seeds just beginning to sprout or as fully grown forests rooted in resilience.

While many of us created art—wildflower collages, personal medicine boxes, and reflective pieces—the heart of The Wildflower Process is not in the final product, but in the tools it provides for healing and self-expression. As part of this showcase, a Wildflower Process booklet—a hybrid coloring book and journal prompt guide—will be made available to the public, extending this creative exploration beyond the event.

This visual journey will begin and end with poetry, framing the evening with reflections on gathering, healing, and resilience. We invite you to join us—not only to witness these works but to celebrate the many ways identity, creativity, and advocacy intertwine.

#MEAction is once again privileged with the opportunity to share the creativity that blooms within this community. We hope you join us for this Showcase as we continue to plant seeds of connection and togetherness.
